Henry Hagg lake is a beautiful lake nestled at the foot of the Coast Range, just 25 miles from Portland near Forest Grove. This pretty place is home to large elk herds, Blue Heron, eagles, turtles, and a variety of other wildlife. Scoggins Creek is a feeder source for this lake, and both are part of the Tualatin River watershed, supplying water to four local cities. This lake is a visual stunner as the seasons change, with low lying fog that hugs the nearby hills in the fall and winter, and cherry and dogwood trees that bloom in the spring and summer.
